Before you write

If it's about a number on the site, the most useful thing you can send us is the page address and roughly what time you were looking at it.

Prices on the markets dashboard refresh every few minutes and US stock prices from Nasdaq can be up to 15 minutes behind, so by the time we look, the figure you saw may already have changed, and knowing the time lets us check the snapshot that was live then rather than the one that's up now. A screenshot helps too if you have one.

We can't answer questions about what you personally should buy, sell or hold, and that's not us being unhelpful. We aren't regulated to give financial advice and we don't know your circumstances, so the most we could ever do is point you back to the same data that's already on the site. A qualified financial adviser is the right person for that kind of question.

FAQ

Contact questions

Can you tell me whether to buy a stock or a coin?

We can't, sorry, and we'd be wary of anyone online who would without knowing anything about you. We're not regulated to give financial advice, and a good answer depends on things we never see, like your other savings, your debts, your tax position and how long you can leave the money alone.

What we can help with is the data and how it's calculated. If you want to understand why a trend score is high, what the RSI reading on an asset page means, or how the inflation calculator gets to its number, ask away and we'll explain it, but the decision itself is one for you and, if a lot is riding on it, a qualified adviser.

I think a price or score on the site is wrong. What should I send?

The page, the figure you saw and roughly what time it was are the three things that matter, plus a screenshot if you've got one. Prices on the site come from public market data providers and are refreshed every few minutes, with crypto every five minutes and US stocks up to 15 minutes delayed, so a number can look out of date for perfectly normal reasons.

If it's something else, like a trend score that doesn't match the price history, or an AI summary quoting a figure that isn't in the data, we definitely want to know, because those are the things our checks are supposed to catch and we'd want to find out why one slipped through.

How do I unsubscribe or ask what you hold about me?

Our emails come with a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also just email info@outsmartmoney.ai and ask to be removed or to see what we hold. The privacy policy explains what we collect and why, and it's short.
