The OutsmartMoney.ai roadmap

Where the site has got to and what we're building next, from the research that started it in June 2026 to the live tools added in October and the accounts, watchlists and alerts still to come.

The short version

  • The research series and the site launched in June 2026. Live markets, the inflation tracker and AI briefs followed in October.
  • Watchlists and price alerts come next. They need accounts underneath them, which is the slower part to get right.
  • Everything live today is free, works without signing in, and we have no plans to charge.
  • There are no quarters on this page any more. A feature goes up once it's checked and working.

Three phases, and where each one stands

The plan has always been to go from content to product in three steps. We started as a research site, partly so we'd know which numbers were worth building tools around, and the tools have been added in roughly the order the research pointed to.

How we decide what to build next

Mostly by asking what the research left hanging. Once The Illusion of Wealth was up, the obvious follow-on question was what the money supply and inflation numbers look like right now, and the series looks at assets over a century when a lot of people, quite reasonably, want to know what one of them is doing this month.

So the live side came next, with the inflation tracker and the trend score built together, and we published the score's method in full, a 0 to 100 reading made from trend, momentum, RSI and drawdown, so anyone can see how a number was reached.

Watchlists and alerts are after that for a fairly practical reason. They're the first features that need you to have an account, and we didn't want to ask anyone to sign up for something that didn't need one, so everything that's live at the moment works without signing in.

We also stopped putting quarters on this page. The previous version had the live tools down for Q3 2026, and they actually arrived in October, which is a small slip but it made the point that we'd rather ship things once they're checked and working than hit a date for the sake of it.

Roadmap questions

When will watchlists and price alerts launch?

We can't give a date yet, we're afraid. They're next, but they need accounts underneath them and that's the slower part to get right, since once we hold anything about you it has to be looked after properly and you need a way to see it and take it away again. The waitlist on the subscribe page is the easiest way to hear when they're ready.

Will OutsmartMoney.ai give AI stock picks or predictions?

No, that isn't what we're building. Everything here describes what has happened, which is why the trend score sticks to fixed rules you can read and why the AI summaries get checked against our data before they're allowed up. The later phases are about going further in the same direction, so better scoring for stocks and crypto and some way of looking at a whole portfolio at once, and if we ever did add something that looked forward we'd expect to publish how it works in the same way we have for the score. A site telling you what to buy without knowing anything about your situation would be a lot closer to advice than we want to be, and to be frank it isn't something we'd feel comfortable promising anyone.

Will the tools stay free?

Yes. Everything on the site is free and none of it needs an account, and we have no plans to charge. OutsmartMoney.ai is a non-commercial educational project, so the later personal tools are planned as free features too. The tools on the AI tools page, the markets dashboard and the inflation tracker all work without signing in.

How can I suggest something for the roadmap?

Send it through the contact page or to info@outsmartmoney.ai. Requests that come with a reason are the most useful, for example "I'd check this every morning because…", since that tells us what problem the feature would solve, and it's often a smaller thing than the feature itself.
